Core Aeration

Our aeration service relieves compacted soil so your lawn can actually absorb the water, air, and nutrients it needs to grow thick and healthy. Using professional core aeration equipment, we pull small soil plugs from your lawn to break up compaction, then leave the cores to break down naturally, feeding your soil as they decompose. We offer two options depending on your lawn's needs: aeration on its own, or aeration paired with overseed and starter fertilizer for lawns that need to fill in thin or bare areas.

Aeration Options

1

Core Aeration Only

Best for lawns that are otherwise healthy but suffering from compacted soil

2

Aeration + Seed + Starter Fertilizer

Best for thin, patchy, or high-traffic lawns that need new growth to fill in bare spots

What Sets Our Aeration Service Apart:

  • Southwest Ohio's dense clay soil compacts fast, especially in high-traffic yards, and compacted soil is one of the biggest reasons lawns stay thin no matter how much you fertilize or water. Our core aeration is timed to Springboro's growing season so your lawn recovers quickly and gets the most benefit from every plug pulled.

  • Built for Ohio Clay Soil – Targets the dense, compacted soil common throughout Springboro and the Miami Valley

  • Two Service Options – Choose standalone aeration, or aeration with overseed and starter fertilizer for thin or bare lawns

  • Seasonally Timed – Scheduled in fall, the ideal window for aeration, overseeding, and root establishment before winter
